“Three years after being separated following an attempted border-crossing, Fernanda is reunited with her 12-year-old son Juan. But the small child she knew is now a teenage boy. It’s not the reunion Fernanda has been dreaming of, and forced to reconcile with the fact that her son has had to create a life without her, she must learn how to connect with him again.
